Josh Richardson has entered the NBA's Health and Safety Protocol Friday just hours before the Celtics were to face the Phoenix Suns on the road.
Boston is currently 1-3 on their current west coast road trip and were already without Jaylen Brown, who's set to miss his fifth straight game with right hamstring tightness.
Boston Celtics G/F Josh Richardson has entered COVID-19 health and safety protocols and is out tonight vs. Phoenix, team says.

If Richardson has tested positive for COVID-19, the veteran guard could be in quarantine for at least 10 days. After tonight, the Celtics return to TD Garden to host the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday then have some time off before a back-to-back set at home against the Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks Friday and Saturday. They'll head to Philly and take on the 76ers come the following Monday.
With Richardson and Brown (for now) both out, the Celtics could look to some of the younger guys like Romeo Langford and Aaron Nesmith for quality playing time.
