Pistons 118 - Celtics 108: Tobias Harris & Andre Drummond lead Detroit in win over Boston


In a seesaw-kind of battle, critical errors towards the tail-end of the fourth quarter can ultimately decide a team's fate.

The Celtics found themselves on the wrong end of that seesaw as they teetered towards their first loss at TD Garden since the home opener on Oct. 18 against the Bucks.

Celtics 108 - Pacers 98: Kyrie Irving (25 points), Al Horford lead Celtics past Pacers


In what ended up being their highest-scoring third quarter of the season, the Celtics rallied back from a double-digit deficit to knock off the Pacers on the second night of a back-to-back set.

It was a foregone conclusion heading into the regular season that we would inevitably see epic performances from Kyrie Irving this season even though the Celtics have impressively been able to string together a winning streak without Irving scoring over 30 points.

Jaylen Brown followed up his 22-point night against the Warriors by setting a new career-high, 27 points on Saturday. Brown and Irving combined for 57 points, as the Celtics beat the Hawks at the Philips Arena 110-99, to extend their win streak to 15 games.

Thursday night, the NBA had an early season battle of the titans when the Warriors traveled to TD Garden to take on the Celtics. Golden State brought in the best offense in the league and coming off one of the most dominant championship runs in recent history look to capture a third title in four seasons.

The Celtics rallied from an 18-point deficit to beat the Charlotte Hornets 90-87 at the TD Garden on Friday night.

Kyrie Irving shows support for Lonzo and LaVar Ball


Lonzo Ball's first game against the Celtics wasn't pretty.

On the court, the second-overall pick scored 9 points on 4-of-15 shots, finished with 6 assists but couldn't find his rhythm when his team need it most; towards the end of the fourth quarter. Off the court, Celtics fans let him have it -- they rained down boos every chance they could throughout the night in the Lakers' loss in Boston.

Celtics 110 - Hawks 107: Kyrie Irving takes charge and holds off ATL for C's ninth straight win


Throughout the first week of the regular season, many wondered when Kyrie Irving was going to grab control of a game and explode for 30-plus points. Irving turned on the cheat code at Philips Arena on Monday night, as the Celtics held off the Hawks in a 110-107 road victory for Boston's ninth straight win.

On Sunday the Celtics made it eight wins in a row after a 104-88 victory against the Orlando Magic. Six players scoring in double-figures helped Boston extend their winning steak and give the C's the NBA's best record at 8-2.

Celtics 101 - Thunder 94: Al Horford, Kyrie Irving lead C's in 18-point comeback win at OKC


The Celtics have officially put the NBA on notice.

Not only do they have the best record in the league (7-2), but the Celtics turned in their most impressive win of the year on Friday in Oklahoma City. Boston turned an 18-point deficit into a 101-94 win over Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Carmelo Anthony and the Thunder.
