Marcus Smart has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Celtics guard confirmed the news via his Twitter account.
The NBA sent out a memo earlier today that starting on Friday, all 30 teams must close their practice and training facilities to players and staff until further notice.

The NBA came down on Marcus Smart Thursday morning, slapping the Celtics guard with a $35,000 fine for his involvement in a postgame altercation, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Marcus Smart once again displayed how important he is to this current Celtics roster, following the team's much needed 112-106 win over the Cavaliers in Cleveland on Wednesday night.
Coming off of Tuesday's disappointing loss to the Brooklyn Nets, the shorthanded Celtics bounced back with a win on the road against the Cavaliers but it was no easy task.
