Celtics 92 - Bucks 87: Marcus Smart's return electrifies the C's in crucial Game 5 win [BOS leads series, 3-2]
From the moment Marcus Smart made his way to the scorers' table shortly after the first timeout in the opening frame, the crowd at TD Garden erupted and it immediately made an impact. He kicked things off with a steal, and seconds afterwards he hit the deck for a loose ball.
With the series tied 2-2, Tuesday night Game 5 matchup against the Bucks is considered a must-win for the Celtics. While TD Garden has been good to the Celtics throughout the first two games of the postseason, Milwaukee made adjustments in Games 3 and 4 that drastically changed the series and will implement those changes Tuesday night to grab its first lead of the series.
Marcus Smart got his thumb re-evaluated and he has been cleared to play in Game 5, according to Brad Stevens, who spoke with the media at Celtics practice Tuesday morning.

The Celtics have upgraded Marcus Smart (thumb) to questionable Tuesday's Game 5 against the Milwaukee Bucks at the TD Garden.
Smart spoke to the media on Sunday and said he would have his surgically repaired right thumb re-evaluated on Tuesday in New York, hoping he'd be cleared for contact and return to the court by Game 6.
Celtics forward Marcus Morris is convinced NBA officials have it out for him.
Less than 24 hours after the NBA announced Morris' $15,000 fine for criticizing the officials following Game 3's loss against the Bucks Friday night, Morris again expressed his frustration moments after Sunday's 104-102 loss.

Bucks 104 - Celtics 102: Jaylen Brown, C's 20-point rally falls short in Milwaukee [Series tied, 2-2]
MILWAUKEE -- It was another career afternoon for Jaylen Brown, but his 34 points and a Celtics' 20-point rally were not enough to win in Game 4 and take a 3-1 lead back to Boston.
Instead, a late Giannis Antetokounmpo tip-in with mere seconds left in the fourth quarter, proved to be the difference maker for the Bucks, who won 104-102 to tie the series 2-2 on Sunday in Milwaukee.
It's no secret that Marcus Smart has been putting up shots in practice and in pregame warmups throughout the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Kyrie Irving will miss the rest of the regular season and playoffs, following another procedure to remove two screws from his left patella that were inserted to repair a fracture he suffered during the 2015 NBA Finals.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Celtics are set to announce later today that Irving will undergo surgery on Saturday after a bacterial infection was discovered around the screws during the All-Star's most recent 'minimally invasive' procedure back on March 24, that removed a tension wire.

The Celtics have officially ruled out Terry Rozier (ankle) and Shane Larkin (illness) for tonight's road matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks.
According to the team's twitter feed, both Rozier and Larkin will join Kyrie Irving (knee) and Marcus Smart (thumb) on the disabled list, leaving Brad Stevens to get creative at the point guard position.
