Smart spoke to the media on Sunday and said he would have his surgically repaired right thumb re-evaluated on Tuesday in New York, hoping he'd be cleared for contact and return to the court by Game 6.

MILWAUKEE -- It was another career afternoon for Jaylen Brown, but his 34 points and a Celtics' 20-point rally were not enough to win in Game 4 and take a 3-1 lead back to Boston.
Instead, a late Giannis Antetokounmpo tip-in with mere seconds left in the fourth quarter, proved to be the difference maker for the Bucks, who won 104-102 to tie the series 2-2 on Sunday in Milwaukee.

Kyrie Irving to miss the playoffs following surgery on left knee
Kyrie Irving will miss the rest of the regular season and playoffs, following another procedure to remove two screws from his left patella that were inserted to repair a fracture he suffered during the 2015 NBA Finals.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Celtics are set to announce later today that Irving will undergo surgery on Saturday after a bacterial infection was discovered around the screws during the All-Star's most recent 'minimally invasive' procedure back on March 24, that removed a tension wire.
