Draft Lottery Recap - Where Do the Celtics Go From Here?



Winning the third pick in the 2016 NBA Draft was poetic justice for a Boston franchise who has rarely (if ever) been rewarded its rightful pick in the Draft Lottery age. The Celtics came into the night with a shot at landing anywhere from picks one through six and found themselves rewarded by the Brooklyn Nets hard work in landing exactly on the slot they should have. Now that they know the 'where' the question shifts to 'who?'

Celtics Final Grades


It's been a little over two weeks since the Celtics were eliminated from the postseason by the Atlanta Hawks (now also sitting at home after being swept by the Cavs) in six games. The C's finished their 2015-16 campaign on a sour note after concluding the regular season with a 48-34 record (despite a four-way tie with Miami, Atlanta and Charlotte), which was only good enough for the fifth seed in the East.

Is Jae Crowder Untouchable In A Deal For Jimmy Butler?


If the Bulls make Jimmy Butler available in a trade, theoretically the Celtics would be able to put together the best package and have the most assets to offer Chicago for the 2-time all-star shooting guard.

A while back rumors were leaked regarding Danny Ainge's first attempt to pry Butler from the Bulls around the trade deadline. Apparently the deal stalled out because Ainge just wouldn't part with Jae Crowder.

Fast Forward a couple months and the Jimmy Butler trade winds are blowing again. Now, the question is in a deal for Butler should the Celtics make Jae Crowder available?
