Hawks 114 - Celtics 98: Dennis Schroder, Hawks rout C's at TD Garden

In a chippy, playoff-type atmosphere -- one reminiscent of last year's first round series between the two clubs -- Dennis Schroder gave the Celtics a flashback on how to slow down Isaiah Thomas en route to a 114-98 Hawks victory.

Atlanta outscored their opponent, 63-51 in the second half and finished shooting nearly 50 percent (48.4) from the floor while Schroder spent the night pestering his assignment in Thomas and was nearly flawless while running Atlanta's offense.

Avery Bradley to return against the Atlanta Hawks

After missing 22 of the last 23 games due to a right Achilles injury, Avery Bradley is set to return to Brad Stevens' lineup on Monday night when Boston hosts the Atlanta Hawks at the TD Garden.

As the dust begins to settle on the Celtics not making any moves at the NBA Trade-Deadline, the only hope or saving grace is possibly acquiring a free agent via the newly waived batch of players ready to be picked up by playoff/championship contenders.

Celtics Trade-Deadline Post-Mortem

As the 2017 NBA trade deadline came and went, I couldn’t help but revert back to the single word quote from Celtics Owner Wyc Grousbeck just a few short years ago, 'Fireworks.' Now, the context of the quote can be debated but the Celtics owner was attempting to fire up his fan base on the premise that his historic franchise was building something special and going to do it in a very public way.

Fast forward to trade deadline in 2017 and I’d say these were the types of 'fireworks' that your neighbors have when they stop at the corner store and buy sparklers for the kids. The legal kind.

Kevin Garnett says 'AAU has killed our league' in latest interview

Such was the case after a horrible All-Star game, NBATV capped off the weekend in New Orleans with a great interview of Kevin Garnett, his first since officially retiring back in September

What trade assets the Celtics have to offer?

As the DeMarcus Cousins dust settles in Boston, the debates now have begun on whether the Celtics brass may have dropped the ball on not pursuing a trade for arguably the best big man in the NBA.

Why not trading for DeMarcus Cousins could be the reason Danny Ainge & Brad Stevens lose their jobs

Just hours after the 2017 NBA All-Star Game, one of the biggest (and most notorious) superstars in the NBA was traded for a price that amounts to a used bicycle with no tires.

The man they call DeMarcus 'Boogie' Cousins was dealt by the Sacramento Kings after a tumultuous seven-year stint in Sacramento to the New Orleans Pelicans for rookie Buddy Hield, former King Tyreke Evans, NBA journeyman Langston Galloway, and the Pelicans first and second round picks in the 2017 draft.
