Celtics give qualifying offers to Sullinger & Zeller
Despite all the recent Kevin Durant and Dwight Howard talks this past week, everyone in Boston had forgotten about two of the C's own free agents until Wednesday.
According to sources, the Celtics announced it will extend qualifying offers to Jared Sullinger and Tyler Zeller, making them restricted free agents [instead of unrestricted] ahead of Thursday's NBA deadline. The team will have the right to match any offer sheet the two big men sign.

Free Agent No-No's - Four FA's That the Celtics Need to Avoid
Mark Stein is reporting that the Celtics have secured a meeting with Dwight Howard and plan on trying to lure him to Boston.
WHAAAAT????
After the NBA Draft debacle [see here] and now this Dwight Howard talk, I am starting to seriously concern myself with thoughts that Danny Ainge may have sold his soul in that Kevin Garnett/Paul Pierce deal and now is cursed. Someone call the Mormon Witch Doctor and send him over to the TD Garden ASAP. July 1st is only two days away.

Celtics Draft 2016 - The Great Letdown
For the second consecutive year Boston Celtics fans were taken on a roller coaster of emotions leading up to draft day only to be dumped on their collective backsides. Celtics Draft 2016 - Is the Brooklyn Trade Slowly Turning Into A Failure?
The overwhelming feeling that the Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce trade is going to go down in history as a failure is starting to take over my brain.
If Danny Ainge can't package Brooklyn's 3rd Overall pick in tonight's NBA Draft to acquire an All-Star, the return for the best two players in recent Celtics history will be halfway gone. If Ainge does keep the pick, all the Celtics will have to show for the first half of their major haul from Brooklyn is James Young, and the third best player in a two player draft.
That is depressing as hell.

Kevin Love to Boston Saga Continues
Part of this is Kevin Love's own fault; he really wanted to sit with the cool kids at lunch and approved the trade to join up with James, Kyrie Irving, and the rest of the then rejuvenated Cavaliers. He had the chance to get out after a rocky first year in Cleveland. He did not, instead Love drank the Kool-Aid again and signed a max deal.
