Jae Crowder expected to play tonight


It looks like the Celtics will get their starting small forward back when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday night.

Jae Crowder is set to make his return tonight after missing eight straight games with a high-right ankle sprain. The young veteran went through his first full practice on Wednesday where he stated that he 'felt good...real good,' and shoot around this morning with no issues.

Clippers 114 - Celtics 90: C's tie their worst lost of season


They say, "revenge is a dish best served cold." That probably was the Clippers' mind set on Monday night when they took into account the last time they saw the Celtics.

Chris Paul made sure Los Angeles did not have a repeat performance of a month and a half ago as he lead his troops to an easy 114-90 victory over Boston at the Staples Center.

Feast or Famine - Celtics West Coast Trip Could Make Or Break The Season

This quote was made famous when in 1851 when the East Coast of the United States began to be  over crowded and over populated. The new car smell of the United States of America was starting to wear off. The idea of a fresh start could be achieved by picking up the family, moving out West and taking a chance on fertile and vast farmland to start over again.

Celtics 91 - Raptors 79: C's win their third in a row


The Celtics came into the TD Garden on Wednesday night not only looking to avenge a loss from five days ago up north, but in fact make a statement against the Toronto Raptors with a win. They accomplished just that with a long road trip on the horizons, Boston might have gained more momentum with a 91-79 victory as they continue their climb back up the Eastern Conference standings.

Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas, whose missed Toronto's past four games with a left hand injury, will be back in action on Wednesday night against the Celtics at TD Garden.

Celtics 107 - Magic 96: Thomas, Olynyk push C's past Magic



It was a hard fought win at TD Garden.

The Celtics kept their opponent at bay for most of the first half before pulling ahead in a 35-point third quarter on the way to a 107-96 win over the Magic.

For a week, the Celtics have been playing without two of their most versatile front court guys -- Jae Crowder and Jonas Jerebko -- and as the C's gear up for a two-game home stand, one of those guys is expected to be back in action to face Evan Fournier, Aaron Gordon and the Magic.

Celtics 120 - Sixers 105: 'Back to the winning ways'



For a team that desperately needed a win, the Celtics got the job done in the city of brotherly love. 

Losers of five of their last six games, the Celtics snapped a four-game losing by beating the Sixers, 120-105 in Philadelphia on Sunday.

Raptors 105 - Celtics 91: Kyle Lowry, Raptors hand Celtics fourth straight loss



For the second straight game, the Celtics never led once and surrendered another double-digit loss.

Kyle Lowry and the Raptors led the Celtics for 48 minutes and cruised to a 105-91 victory at the Air Canada Centre on Friday. Celtics (39-30) have now slipped down to sixth in the Eastern Conference.

Isaiah Thomas considers Friday's game against the Raptors a 'must-win'



Celtics All-Star Isaiah Thomas expressed his frustration about his team's recent three-game losing streak following their 130-109 loss to the Thunder on Wednesday and considers Friday's game against the Raptors a must-win.

Thunder 130 - Celtics 109: Durant, Westbrook dominate C's


Kevin Durant demonstrated why he will be the most sought out free agent this summer.

The All-Star forward, alongside his All-Star teammate Russell Westbrook, annihilated the Celtics on their way to a 130-109 win at TD Garden. The Celtics have now lost three in a row and back-to-back games at home.

Durant on Boston: 'I like the city a lot'



Although the Celtics aren't considered a favorite to land the impending All-Star free agent, Kevin Durant had nothing but good things to say about the storied franchise.

Pacers 103 - Celtics 98: C's lose their second straight


Two months ago the Celtics were able to rally back late in the fourth quarter and beat the Pacers at the TD GardenOn Tuesday night, lightning didn't strike twice for the C's and their 38 percent shooting as they fell to Indiana 103-98 at the Banker's Life Fieldhouse.

Celtics 116 - Grizzlies 96: Isaiah Thomas leads Celtics to 14th straight win at home



It was a tale of two halves.

After staying within striking distance in the first half, Isaiah Thomas and the Celtics turned a three-point halftime deficit into a double-digit lead with a 24-6, second-half run en route to a 116-96 win at TD Garden on Wednesday.

Celtics Quest to 50 Wins


The Boston Celtics have 18 games left in the regular season and currently stand at 38-26 on the year. They have made the leap from a fringe playoff team last year to sitting pretty as the third seed  in the Eastern Conference.  Brad Stevens and his squad have proved a lot this year up to this point. The playoffs seem like a foregone conclusion, but there is an achievement this Celtics team has a chance at in the regular season.  That is the 50 win plateau.

Cavaliers 120 - Celtics 103: LeBron James pushes Cavs past C's



It was exactly a month ago when the Celtics shocked the NBA and beat the Cleveland Cavaliers on a buzzer beating 3-pointer at the Quicken Loans Arena. For a quarter and a half it looked liked Boston was going to run away with another win against LeBron James until they blew an 18-point lead and lost 120-103 on Saturday night.

Celtics 105 - Knicks 104: C's beat New York, make it 13 in a row


In the final outing of their five-game homestand, the Celtics' win over the Knicks may have been their most impressive win of them all.

On Friday night, Boston didn't just hustle their way to a 13th straight home victory by beating the New York Knicks 105-104, but they also just put the rest of the league on notice as Avery Bradley (9 points) hit the game-winning layup with 17.7 seconds left.

After regaining the lead in the second quarter, the Celtics beat the Blazers in a blowout fashion on their way to a 116-93 win for their 12th consecutive victory at TD Garden.

Brad Stevens wins Coach of the Month Honors


It keeps getting better and better for Boston Celtics' coach Brad Stevens as of late, who along with Portland Trail Blazers' Terry Stotts, were named today NBA Eastern and Western Conference Coaches of the Month, respectively, for games played in February.
