The start to the Celtics' 2018-19 season wasn't a pretty one.
Kyrie Irving went scoreless in the first half, Jaylen Brown couldn't find his shot and neither could most of the Celtics starters, except for second-year forward Jayson Tatum -- he had himself a night.
There is nothing like the feeling of Opening Night that gets NBA fans' adrenaline pumping.
With the season starting earlier than usual, it takes on the cliche that Christmas has come early for basketball fans. Especially if you're a Celtics fan, you must be anxious to see what this team can achieve this season.
Heading into the 2018-19 season, most have oversold the ceiling of this year's Celtics team, underestimating the kinks that need to be ironed out by Brad Stevens and his coaching staff.
