Jayson Tatum to replace Kevin Durant (hamstring) as All-Star starter

Celtics forward Jayson Tatum will replace Kevin Durant as a starter in next week's All-Star Game, the NBA announced Friday prior to the team's 118-112 win over the Pacers.

Durant will miss the game because of a hamstring injury and since Tatum finished fourth in the voting for three Eastern Conference frontcourt starters, behind Durant, Giannis Antetekounmpo and Joel Embiid, he will start on March 7 in Atlanta. He was previously selected as a reserve for the second straight year by the Eastern Conference's coaches, along with Celtics teammate Jaylen Brown.

Pacers' forward Domantas Sabonis has also been named by commissioner Adam Silver to replace Durant's spot, earning his second nod at the mid-season classic.
