Prior to the team's 119-115 win over the Clippers on Friday night, coach Brad Stevens said Brown's knee was being monitored carefully following the Celtics' loss to the Kings two days before and that the discomfort was to the point that he missed his first game of the season.
#NEBHInjuryReport for tomorrow C’s Utah:
— Boston Celtics (@celtics) February 8, 2021
Jaylen Brown (left knee soreness) - QUESTIONABLE
Romeo Langford (right wrist surgery rehab) - OUT
Marcus Smart (left calf tear) - OUT
Marcus Smart has also missed four straight with a calf injury and didn't travel with the team, as Boston (12-10) is 2-2 on their current road trip after a loss on Super Bowl Sunday to the Phoenix Suns. They'll look to wrap-up their five-game western swing on a high note against the Jazz, who have the league's best record record at 19-5 tomorrow night.
TNT will have the tip-off at 10 pm EST.
