Former Celtics Hall-of-Fame center Robert Parish offered his two cents on who is the best all-time scorer to ever don green and white and had a surprise answer.
"I think that Larry (Bird) and John Havlicek and Paul (Pierce) were the best offensive players that the Celtics ever had -- I think Paul tops that list in my opinion," Parish said. "I just feel like Paul was more creative. He was a better scorer than say Larry or John Havlicek."While Havlicek leads the franchise in total points scored, Pierce is second and Bird is right behind him. Pierce does beat out Havlicek in 3-pointers made along with made free-throws but Havlicek and Bird are second and third for most assists.
