Report: Celtics have signed 2016 second-rounder Abdel Nader

The Celtics and guard/forward Abdel Nader have agreed to a 4-year, $6 million deal, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.

Nader was the Celtics No. 58 overall selection in the 2016 draft and spent the past season with the Maine Red Claws of the NBA D-League, where the 6-foot-6 Nader averaged 21.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists throughout the season, becoming the league’s Rookie of the Year.

So far in this year's Summer League, Nader averaged 14.7 points, three rebounds, and one assist in three games in Utah, to go along with putting up 14 points, seven rebounds, and two assists in his lone game in Las Vegas.

With the trade of Avery Bradley last week, Nader adds to the Celtics depth chart at either the two guard spot or the small forward position.
