Jayson Tatum will defend Skills Competition title at NBA All-Star Weekend

Jayson Tatum will be heading back to NBA All-Star Saturday night.

After being named to the NBA All-Star team for the first time in his career, Tatum was named as one of eight participants in this year's NBA Skills Competition. Tatum, who defeated Hawks All-Star Trae Young in the final round of last year's competition, will be taking on Clippers guard Patrick Beverley, Heat center Bam Adebayo, Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie, Bucks guard Khris Middleton, Raptors center Pascal Siakam, Pistons guard Derrick Rose and Pacers forward Domantas Sabonis.

Tatum, alongside All-Star point guard Kemba Walker, will be the only two players representing the Celtics in Chicago for this year's All-Star Weekend. As for the other All-Star Saturday festivities, the 3-point Shootout's defending champion Joe Harris of the Nets will be up against Young, Bulls guard Zach Lavine, Kings guard Buddy Hield, Blazers guard Damian Lillard and Heat guard Duncan Robinson.

NBA All-Star Weekend will be held between February 14-16.
