Celtics Pre-Game Report: Houston Rockets Preview

It's game No. 39 for the 2017-18 Celtics (28-10), as they host the Houston Rockets (25-7) at the TD Garden on Thursday.

Boston is coming off a bounce back win over the Charlotte Hornets after their Christmas Day loss to the Washington Wizards, while the Rockets, who also loss on X-Mas to the Thunder, are on a three-game skid and now find themselves in second place out West.

Houston has yet to manage a victory since their 14-game win streak was snapped a week ago by the Lakers. Both Boston and the Rockets shoot the 3-pointer at a high clip and there should be a lot of points put up on the board at the Garden between two of the NBA's best shooting teams.

No Chris Paul (left adductor strain) or Clint Capela (right orbital fracture) for Houston. No Jaylen Brown (knee) or Semi Ojeleye (sore back), but Marcus Morris (knee) will return on minute restrictions.
