Cleveland's new All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas addressed how he found out he was traded from the Celtics for the first time in an Instagram video he posted late Tuesday night.
In a brief promo clip for an upcoming documentary entitled, The Book of Isaiah 2, Thomas recalls the conversation he had with Danny Ainge -- informing him that he had just been dealt to the Cavaliers.
"I call him back, he's like, 'How's your life, I.T.?'" Thomas is seen saying this in the video, telling a friend over the phone. "I'm like I just got back home, I'm straight, and he's like, 'Well, I just traded you.'"The short video also features clips of Thomas shooting around in his new Cavaliers attire, working out in the gym and highlights from his best playoff performances. This is the first time Thomas has issued any statements or posted anything on social media about last month's trade.
The Cavaliers have yet to announce if there will be an introductory press conference for Thomas, Jae Crowder and Ante Zizic.
