Celtics 111 - Pelicans 93: C's blow past New Orleans



The Celtics topped off their five-game road trip with a win -- a 111-93 victory, their largest margin of victory away from TD Garden.

The Celtics started a run at the end of the second quarter and then stretched it out to 30-9 after halftime. Isaiah Thomas was feeling it early and often, he finished with a game-high 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting, including 4-4 from three.

Kelly Olynyk (21) scored 20-plus for the second time on the road, while Jared Sullinger tied a career-high in rebounds. His 20 rebounds helped the Celtics offense and Jae Crowder had 17 points and three blocks.

Ryan Anderson scored a team-high 18 points to go with his nine rebounds and Anthony Davis had 16 points and six rebounds.

The Celtics will enjoy a much-needed home stand at TD Garden that kicks off on Wednesday night against the Bulls.


Game Notes: 

The C's shot nearly 40 percent from the floor (49.4) on 40-of-81 shooting.
