After the Celtics rescinded their qualifying offer for free agent Jared Sullinger over the weekend -- the writing was on the wall for Sullinger's future in Boston.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo's The Vertical, Sullinger will sign a one-year, $6 million deal with the Raptors. He made the announcement on Twitter, stating: 'WE THE NORTH #0' and thanked the city of Boston -- a place that will forever be called home for Sullinger.

With the Celtics coming to a contract agreement with All-Star Al Horford, it seems like the Celtics were ready to let Sullinger go. He will head to a top contending team in the east and has a good chance of winning the starting job at power forward over Luis Scola.Thank you Boston #TeamSully #7 pic.twitter.com/ykIP17sCIF— Jared Sullinger (@Jared_Sully0) July 11, 2016
Sullinger, who averaged 10.3 points and 8.3 rebounds for the Celtics last season, has spent all four years in Boston where he built career averages of 11.1 points and 7.7 rebounds.
