Rondo Suspended One Game for 'Bumping' Ref : Will Miss Tonights Game vs. Knicks

Instead of gearing up for the big game with the Atlantic Division leading  New York Knicks, Rajon Rondo will be choosing what suit to wear, as he is suspended for one game for his altercation with a ref Saturday night.

The act wasn't horrendous. It was nothing like the brush up he had with the ref in the playoffs last year, but there was contact after Rondo did not get a call  while driving to the hoop Saturday evening. It was just a slight crossing of paths but it seems Rondo's reputation got the best of him.

This is Rondo's third suspension in the last year, twice due to 'bumping a ref'.

This is an inexcusable action by the Celtics star. The timing couldn't be worse as the C's were just gaining momentum coming off two straight wins over playoff contenders.
