According to CSNNE.com‘s A. Sherrod Blakely reported that the Celtics have agreed to re-sign forward/center Chris Wilcox. Chris tweeted earlier in the day: “I’m definitely excited to be back,” Well at least someone understood and bought in to the to the Ubuntu philosophy unlike some who decided to take their talents to South Beach (See previous article…Good Riddance) This bench is slowly coming into form!
Speaking of the bench Weei.com has reported that Danny Ainge is trying to work out a trade to acquire Jason Terry. If a Sign and trade can be worked out with Dallas, this would allow the Celtics to use their mid-level exception on another player like a Mayo or a Lee. It’s still unclear who would be involved from the Celtics’ end, but it would be interesting if they can pull it off. The Celtics need to stay under the $70.3 millon luxury tax line in order to get a greater return on the trade.
