Prior to the game Olynyk was actually expected to be ruled out after Shavlik Randolph elbowed him in the eye in warm ups. His eye exploded, he needed four stitches and no one would have questioned if he sat this one out. Yet, we sometimes forget he is Canadian so that hockey player blood is running through those veins a simple black eye is not holding him out. He suited up and he had one of his best games of the season.

Evan Turner had another monster game against his former team posting his third triple double of the year. (No, this is not a typo, Evan Turner has 3 triple doubles this year) His 13-12-11 line was easily the most impressive in the box score. He continued to show he is one of the most important players on this team. Garden. forget he was a #2 overall pick in 2012. He has talent and has shown in Brad Stevens' system he can really produce.
Tyler Zeller sparked the early offense in this one and had 17 points in the first half. He finished with 19 points of his own to continue his streak of great play lately. Jae Crowder's 13 points and stellar defense also helped the Celtics dominate in a game they needed to win.

If you are the Pacers, you have to be looking at this game as the first nail in the coffin for their playoff hopes. They came out flat and did not really challenge for the lead all night. Frank Vogel's bunch isn't out of the playoffs yet, but it's definitely going to be an uphill battle. George Hill had 21 points but other than him there was really no bright spot tonight.
After this game the Celtics stay put as the 9th seed 1/2 games back of the Brooklyn Nets who won on a last second tip-in by Brook Lopez against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
