After leading the Celtics to a 3-0 record, Isaiah Thomas was named NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played from April 5 - April 12.
Last week, Thomas averaged 22.7 points, 5.7 assists, and 2.7 rebounds. In his best game of the season, Thomas scored a season-high 34 points (10-for-17) and dished out 6 assists on national TV against the Pistons on April 8.

Celtics 113 - Pistons 103: 34 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds
Celtics 99 - Cavs 90: 17 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds
Celtics 117 - Cavs 98: 17 points, 6 assists, 2 steals
After winning the award for a second time this season, it only proves how important Thomas has been for the C's so far . Two weeks after being traded to the Celtics, Thomas became the first Celtic to win the award this season for games played Monday, February 23 through Sunday, March 2.
