Isaiah Thomas wins NBPA's Clutch Performer Award


The National Basketball Players Association have handed out their 2017 Players Voice Awards and Celtics All-Star Isaiah Thomas was voted this year's best Clutch Performer on Friday.

This NBPA award, handed out via Twitter, comes only 48 hours after Thomas, who finished fifth in the NBA MVP voting last season, would have the ninth best odds to win Most Valuable Player in 2018, according to Las Vegas

Thomas averaged 28.9 points, 5.9 assists per game, while shooting 46.3 percent from the field and 91 percent from the free throw line this past 2016-17 campaign.
