NBA named Jaylen Brown Eastern Conference Player of the Week

The NBA named Jaylen Brown Eastern Conference Player of the Week after leading the Celtics to 3-0 between February 25 - March 3.

On the heels of a 29-point performance (11-of-19 shooting, including 5-of-10 from deep) in the team's 140-88 lopsided victory over the Golden State Warriors, Brown finished the week averaging 28.3 points (62.3% on field goal attempts and 47% on 3-pointers made), 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and a steal per contest.

This is Brown's fourth Player of the Week award of his career and first since March of 2023. The All-Star wing also dropped 31 on 11-of-14 from the field in a 117-99 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, becoming the first Celtic to score at least 30 points on less than 15 shot attempts since Paul Pierce back in 2008.

The Celtics still own the league's best record at 48-12 and are currently riding a season-best 11-game win streak. They will face the Cleveland Cavaliers (32-21) Tuesday night on the road, as TNT has the tip-off at 7:30 pm ET.
