Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday out against Bulls

The Celtics will be shorthanded once again when they face the Chicago Bulls at the United Center Saturday night.

Three starters of Jaylen Brown (ankle), Kristaps Porzingis (hamsting) and Jrue Holiday (shoulder) are set to be sidelined as 12 games remain before the playoffs begin.

Brown, coming off a 33-point performance in the C's 129-102 victory over the Detroit Pistons Friday, gets to rest his right ankle on a second night of a back-to-back. Porzinigis, who's been battling a right hamstring injury, finished with 19 points in the contest.

Holiday has reportedly been nursing a "dead arm" for nearly a week after taking a hard screen to his right shoulder against the Washington Wizards last Sunday, is going to miss his third straight game as the veteran guard continues to get medical treatment and there's no timetable for his return.

Meanwhile, Jayson Tatum (ankle) returns from his one-game absence after being listed as questionable and Al Horford (toe) -- who was also upgraded to available, will likely start in place of Porzingis after not playing against the Pistons. Look for Sam Hauser to be in the starting five along with Payton Pritchard -- both playing extremely well as of late as either a starter or coming off the bench.

The Celtics at 56-14 are riding a eight-game win streak, as tip-off from the United Center versus the Bulls (34-36) is at 8:00 pm ET on NBA TV.
