Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis & Al Horford to sit out against Utah

The Celtics will be shorthanded once again on the second night of a back-to-back when they face the Utah Jazz Tuesday to close out their five-game road trip.

Jaylen Brown (
sacroiliac strain), Kristaps Porzingis (right hamstring strain), and Al Horford (left big toe sprain) are all listed as out, per the team's injury report.

Porzingis is set to miss his third straight game following the loss in Denver where he had to chase around Nikola Jokic, while sitting out against the Suns and the Trail Blazers, in which both games were wins for the C's.

Horford, who hasn't played in any back-to-backs this season is taking his scheduled day off to rest after starting in place of Porzinigis on Monday and finishing with 11 points on 4-of-4 from the field and a perfect 3-of-3 from deep, to go along with four rebounds, four assists and three blocks in 30 minutes of action in Portland.

Brown was listed as questionable prior to Boston facing the Blazers with the sacroiliac strain, but it didn't seem to slow him down, recording 27 points in the victory. The All-Star wing gets some much-needed rest, as he's averaging 29 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in his last five games.

With Jrue Holiday returning to the lineup from a one-game absence, look for Sam Hauser -- who shot 6-of-10 from the field to net a season-high 22 points off the bench in Monday's win -- to get a starting nod tonight against the Jazz over Payton Pritchard. Luke Kornet should also get starter minutes mixed with Xavier Tillman getting some extended run.

The Celtics tip-off in Utah at 9:00 pm ET from the Delta Center.
