Celtics will be without Kristaps Porzingis, Jrue Holiday against Trail Blazers

The Celtics will be without starters Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis when they face the Portland Trail Blazers tonight.

Porzingis, who sat out Saturday's 117-107 win over the Phoenix Suns with right hamstring tightness, is set to miss his second straight game with the same ailment. Holiday is sidelined with left knee tendinopathy, according to the C's and sharpshooter reserve Svi Mykhailiuk is also out for personal reasons.

On Sunday, the Celtics listed the rest of their starting lineup as questionable, but it turns out Jayson Tatum (right ankle impingement), Jaylen Brown (sacroiliac strain), and Derrick White (left-hand sprain) will all play Monday in Portland with Al Horford and Sam Hauser starting in place of Porzingis and Holiday (only missed five games).

Horford has made 24 starts this season and Porzingis hasn't played in any back-to-backs, while Hauser has started six times so far. Look for the seven-footer to return Tuesday when Boston faces the Jazz in Utah and Horford is likely to sit.

Meanwhile, Payton Pritchard should get extended minutes against the Trail Blazers along with Luke Kornet, Xavier Tillman, and possibly Jaden Springer, as the Celtics tip-off in Portland at 10:30 pm ET on NBA TV.
