4 Things to Remember about the Euro trip

As the Celtics make their way back to the states to continue their exhibition schedule against the Atlantic Division, here are four things to takeaway from their games in Europe against Olimpia Milano and Real Madrid.


DAVID LEE: SO FAR, SO GOOD

David Lee did a little bit of everything in Europe. He played 21 minutes in both games and made the most of them by scoring, rebounding and playing good defense. Lee scored a combined 26 points and showed off his passing ability by dishing out seven assists in two games. Celtics coach Brad Stevens has implemented a fast-tempo offense early on, and so far, Lee is doing an excellent job pulling down boards and jump starting the fast break. The Celtics may have finally found themselves a double-double machine.


AVERY BRADLEY IS SIZZLING FROM DOWNTOWN 

Make it rain, Avery. I guess he wasn't joking at media day when he said he's been working on this three-point shoot. Bradley will be knocking down a lot of threes this season. He made 7-for-8 from behind the arc in Europe, and made them from deep in the corners; exactly where he likes to shoot. Bradley also made backdoor cuts to the hoop, converting easy layups or trips to the free throw line. If Avery can keep this up when he plays in the states, he should be able to bump up his points per game average to 16-17 points.


MISSING PLAYER: JAMES YOUNG

He's 6-foot-6, 230 pounds (gained 15 pounds over the summer), wears no. 13 on the Celtics and is an eager 20 year-old who is dying to crack Stevens' rotation this season. If you see him, please let him know that Celtics fans are worried sick. Since Maine is beautiful this time of year, maybe that's where James wants to start his 2015-16 season.

ROZIER IN 17 MINUTES OR LESS

The first-round pick isn't taking his minutes for granted, early on. Against Real Madrid, Rozier came in the game and went into full-attack mode. Terry scored 12 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter, including back-to-back three pointers and had four assists. And against Olimpia Milano, Rozier scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Showing off his ability to go coast-to-coast after pulling down a board, Rozier can either take it to the hoop or find an open teammate. Seeing Rozier's style of play is an indication of how much Stevens wants to see the Celtics really push the ball after defensive rebounds. If Rozier can keep this up, he may win the backup point guard job sooner than expected.
