Jared Sullinger named Eastern Conference Player of the Week

Jared Sullinger was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week earlier today by the NBA.

In last week's three games, Sullinger averaged 20.3 points and 12.7 rebounds per game. His most impressive performance of the week was against the Sacramento Kings when he scored a career-high 31 points and grabbed 16 rebounds. He's also posted five consecutive double-doubles.

Sullinger has definitely earned his spot to this weekend's Rising Stars Challenge at All-Star weekend. He's on pace to become one of game's best offensive rebounders.

Last month, he was the only player in the NBA who grabbed five or more offensive rebounds in nine games, a feat that could have been extended if he hadn't hurt his hand at the end of the month.
