Pierce been following the Pats 'Religiously'

Former Celtics captain Paul Pierce has made it no secret who he is rooting for in this Sunday's Super Bowl.

In case you forgot, 'The Truth' reminded New Englanders who he's been following despite not being in Boston anymore, when he caught up with Comcast Sports Net New England last night, while the Washington Wizards were taking on the Phoenix Suns at the US Airway Center.

Media Day for the big game took place across from the arena on Tuesday, and before Pierce took the court on Wednesday night, he let it be known he wants the Patriots to become champions come Sunday.

"I'm pulling for them hard," said Pierce. "I want Brady to go out there and get another championship to pretty much cement his legacy even though it's probably already cemented as one of the all-time greats." [CSNNE.com]

Clearly after 15-years of playing in Boston, Pierce still cheers for his 'home' teams. If you recall in 2013, just months of being traded to Brooklyn, a picture of the Celtics legend wearing a Red Sox hat went viral, still showing his allegiance to the hub during the World Series.

Just to let you know Paul, you're still very much missed!
