Kristaps Porzingis, Luke Kornet out against New Orleans

The Celtics will be without big men Kristaps Porzingis and Luke Kornet when they host the New Orleans Pelicans Monday night at TD Garden.

Porzinigis is missing his second straight game due to an ankle sprain he sustained in the team's win over the Miami Heat this past Thursday.

Meanwhile, Kornet -- who recorded 11 points, and five rebounds in the the C's blowout loss to the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday, is out with hamstring soreness.

Despite Porzinigis participating in shootaround earlier today, head coach Joe Mazzulla addressed both players' injuries with reporters and considered them day-to-day.
"They both did their own version of a workout today, just to kind of see how they are feeling," Mazzulla said in his pregame presser. "It will kind of be a day-to-day kind of thing."
Al Horford is available after originally being listed as questionable with a neck injury, as the veteran will have his hands full with Zion Williamson and Jonas Valenciunas.

Look for Neemias Queta, who's on a two-way contract, to also get some run. In 18 games so far, the young center is averaging 4.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 12.4 minutes per contest.

The Celtics (35-11) continue their seven-game homestand tonight against the Pelicans (26-20) on the first half of a back-to-back.
