Jrue Holiday (elbow), Al Horford (rest) out against Rockets tonight

The Celtics will be without Jrue Holiday and Al Horford when they face Ime Udoka and the Houston Rockets Sunday night.

Both were listed as questionable before being downgraded to out just hours ago, as Holiday has a right elbow sprain while Horford is resting on the first night of a back-to-back.

Holiday has played in 39 of the team's 42 games and the last time he sat out was New Year's Eve in a matchup on the road against the San Antonio Spurs with the same injury, that apparently has not yet fully healed.

Meanwhile, Horford hasn't played in any back-to-backs so far this season, but barring anything out of the ordinary, the veteran big man should be ready to go Monday against the Dallas Mavericks.

With Holiday out, Derrick White and Payton Pritchard should get expanded roles, while Luke Kornet and Neemias Queta may also see extra minutes in Horford's absence.

The Celtics look to bounce back from their 102-100 loss to the Denver Nuggets at home, when they take on the Rockets tonight -- for the second time in eight days. Tip-off from the Toyota Center is at 7:00 pm ET.
