Kevin Love placed in NBA Concussion Protocol, out for Game 7 against the Celtics


Kevin Love (concussion) will not play for the Cleveland Cavaliers when they take on the Celtics Sunday in a decisive Game 7.

Love was placed in the NBA's concussion protocol on Saturday, according to ESPN, following his collision with Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum in the first quarter of Game 6.

Cavaliers 116 - Celtics 86: LeBron James, Cavs blowout C's in Game 3 [BOS lead series, 2-1]


The Celtics had three days to prepare for LeBron James and the Cavaliers to extend their 2-0 series lead, but what they didn't expect was to be served a slice of some humble pie.

It was a poor showing for Boston, at the Quicken Loans arena, as the Cavs showed signs of life in a 116-86 blowout Game 3 win, to now be down 2-1 in the Eastern Conference Finals.

It's been a few days now since the Cleveland Cavaliers eliminated the Celtics from the Eastern Conferance Finals and though the 2016-17 season didn't end the way most wanted it to, you can't help but think that this team exceeded all expectations and then some.
